Formed by Jon Campbell in 1989 The Time Frequency’s rise to prominence was swift. Within a period of two years they went from headlining clubs to headlining raves and then from raves to their own sold out concerts. Shortly after the white label release of the ’Futurama’ EP, TTF (as they are more commonly known) signed to Jive Records. Chart success soon followed with a plethora of hit singles all around Europe, peaking as the anthem ’Real Love’ reached no 7 in the UK single charts. All five of TTF’s first five singles went to number one in their homeland and while major labels were blowing hundreds of thousands on the latest hip & cool flops, TTF records were flying quietly out of the door at an unbelievable rate and as a result the act has become an underground phenomenon. In 25 years there hasn’t been a single week where TTF’S music hasn’t been played on UK radio with the singles proving just as popular with the subsequent generations.
In the past four years the regeneration is complete and the band have performed multiple sold out concerts all around Scotland including Glasgow Barrowlands 2014/15 and the O2 Academy. 2016/17 saw the release of the bands most successful single in 23 years ’Come Alive E.P’ which reached 9 on iTunes putting the band firmly back in the public eye. The video for the song already has more likes and views than any previous single. 600.000 Facebook video views 265.000 YouTube views in 5 months.
Following on from this sees the release of the long awaited new album ’Futurelands’ and a comprehensive supporting tour in 2017.« back
